Joint Airlift Water System

The Expeditionary Joint Airlift Water System (JAWS) is a single pallet position, turn-key water solution for new camps in austere environments. The JAWS addresses the needs for fresh water and enhances the mission of the Warfighters. The system provides water in full accordance with military standards and ensures the health and safety of deployed personnel.

The JAWS would allow a unit to deploy with an initial supply of fresh, potable water. The on-board water would be used to support immediate needs while the camp was constructed – without having to rely on or schedule water supply missions in the opening days. As the camp and mission matures the system transitions seamlessly to a water production unit. Fresh, potable water can be produced on-board from virtually any water source. The safety of the camp is also greatly enhanced as there is no longer the need for immediate water supply or support from host nations.
